This is a popular skiing discrict , thanks to its easy access from the large towns of Milan and Brescia ( about an hour ), and also to the beauty of the spot.

The rounded shape of the mountain, with slopes of various gradients and no vegetation mean wide open runs of all degrees of difficulty.

Exposure to the sun, the really outstanding feature of this area lasts the whole day long and yet does not ruin the ski runs, giving even the non-skier the change to spend pleasant days up there.
