Welcome to Castione della Presolana, in the heart of the Dolomities of Bergamo!

Set among forests of firs, beeches and ancient pines, Castione is situated in an enchanting geographical position at the foot of the Presolana Massif.
Our village has been renowned for its salubrious climate, and for its uncontaminated and charming landscape ever since of the century.

The Presolana is set within the imposing frame of the Orobian Pre-Alps, on a wide spread territory which goes from the 780 m altitude at the Gera brook up until 1.297 m of the Presolana Pass to finally reach 2.521 m of the Presolana Peak.

This place boasts a very rich alpinistic tradition and besides skiing it offers a wide range of alternative summer activities , trekking routes, bird-watching, climbing, horse rides, excursions , tennis courts , golf course, indoor swimming pools, bike tours and archery.

Although throughout the years Castione has maintained its rural charm, and its naïve authenticity it ha also taken advantage of modern innovation and technology.
